TMZ posted that according to the California Highway Patrol the body of rapper Snoop Dogg's wife Shante Broadus was found in the basement. This caused the internet to buzz with unconfirmed rumors about the demise of the blunted out rapper's spouse. The rapper showed that he was tech savvy by getting stoned live on Twitter and U Stream TV. 5 seconds after Snoop Dogg learned how to stream video from his home computer to his Twitter page, dude was already firing up a fat ass blunt -- live for fans, cops and anyone else on the planet to see.[TMZ]
If this frightening incident report on the California Highway Patrol's website is correct -- which we hope it's not -- Snoop Doggy Dogg "has the dead body of his wife in his basement." Murder was the case! At 3:19 yesterday afternoon -- while Snoop was getting high live on the internet -- an anonymous tipper called the CHP to alert them of the alleged heinous situation... but apparently it was so ridiculous that no one at the CHP bothered to forward it to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department. [TMZ]
Rapper Snoop Dogg's wife was arrested last year for suspicion of driving under the influence.
The wife of Grammy-nominated rap artist Snoop Dogg was arrested in Fullerton early Saturday on suspicion of drunk driving, police said.
Shante Broadus, 32, was stopped by police near Highland and Orangethorpe avenues about 12:15 a.m. and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, said Fullerton Police Lt. Craig Brower.
Broadus, a resident of Sherman Oaks, was taken to Fullerton City Jail, where she was booked, issued a citation to appear in court and released, Brower said.
He said Broadus would appear in court next month. source
We know that Snoop Dogg is always under the influence of his favorite substance. Snoop was named High Times magazine Stoner of the Year at the 2002 Stony Awards.
Snoop Dogg came to the Stonys dressed to kill, in a Persian lamb-lined
black suede overcoat with matching hat. He carried a silver-encrusted
drinking chalice and a weed-stuffed cane wherever he went. He was

Snoop Dogg was nominated for Stoner of the Year. He appeared in four

(Scary Movie 2), former Stony winner Jason Mewes (Jay and Silent Bob
Strike Back) and Owen Wilson (Zoolander). George Clinton of P-Funk fame
was on hand to present the award. Snoop's appearance brought a bevy of press to the show, mostly from
urban magazines like King and Black Gold News. We also had a reporter
from Entertainment Weekly, Scott Brown--who a week later confessed in
print that he smoked pot for the first time at the Stonys during his
one-on-one interview with Snoop Dogg. "One time for the sake of the interview," Snoop coaxed.
"When I note a ticklish sensation at the back of my throat, Snoop is
solicitous," Brown wrote. "‘That's the Marvin Gaye. You be singing a
few notes before the night is over.'" source
Shante and Snoop Dogg aka Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr. have been married since 1997. The couple have 3 children together.

Snoop Dogg was the jump out clip for Kronick.tv, and thus far has led the way in popularity. In Snoopisode I Tha Doggfather addressed serious topics with honesty and humility. The one-on-one sit-down format took place in his trailer on the set of VHI's "In Tha House" home make-over show. Snoop was gracious enough to share Soul Food from Roscoe's Chicken 'n Waffles before engaging in an extended Kronick Konversation with us.
In this second installment of the series, Snoop expounds on how he crossed into the acting arena and the method he employs to prepare for his roles. So I'm sitting here at Whole Foods in Beverly Hills, downstairs from my Grandma's apt. The vibes are cool and the people working here are nice. As I sit and contemplate the nature of the universe, I think that things are looking better now that I've found my life again in Hip Hop on the internet. In an age of freedom and cooperation, I shine like the brightest star in the galaxy, and far out like Sirius B! Embracing the blessing with honor and wisom, to the glory of grace, with the power of might and strength, I am the durable riches of majestic dominion.
Having said that, I Am Peace, please & Thank You for the children of all nations, languages, Kindred and ages. This little portal into my innerspace explains away the thoughts of a man once lost, Blaq in the Game. And furthermore, I got something to offer all who come to cyberspace looking for more than what's available in the outer limits of life as we know it. In other words, I got that shit that everyone craves for in the name of Hip Hop. I'm not only a client, I'm the Playa President. So allow me to spread my wings and flex my chops. Ahem...
The leadoff Artist holding down the marquis spot on Kronick.tv is the one and only Snoop Dogg in a III part series of Suge Knight Disses circa '02-'03 both at home and on the road in Louisville Kentucky with friends. Seems like these are the crowd favorites right now, especially the sit-down one-on one inb Los Angeles.
Next, on the heels of everything else in between has to be Fergie and her Breast-stroke wet t-shirt innerview. But along with her come the Black Eyed Peas & Justin Timberlake on stage when she first joined the group. What we have here is Fergie one-on-one, Justin on stage beat-boxxing, and Will i am, Apl, and Tabooh leading the Elephunk charge. All vintage, all raw & rare!
After that we got Lil' Wayne, the 8 time grammy nominee for 2009. Let's just say he's the biggest thing in music right about now and everyone is watching to see what he does next, or if he will be his own undoing. We got him in 2004 before the dreads and body tattoos, still young & hungry.
In addition, we got Ying Yang Twinz on "Stripology vs Degration". We got D12 w/ MC Proof (may he rest in peace) waxing nostaligic on Hip Hop; old, new, and outside the typical paradigm of influences musically. Thden we got Mannie Fresh Po, Brike & Lonely as a spoof to the Hood Rich life. Pure COMEDY!!!!
Last but in no wise the least is the wildcard clip of Matt Damon on the fly, literally. We caught him on a plane from NYC-LAX and he was gracious enough to give a Q&A to yours truly at LAX baggage claim. Let TMZ and Harvey Levin try that shit! Matt was cool as fuck and he didn't have to get all Kanye West on my camera or my still photographer. But after about 5 minutes of funk, it got kinda Gnarles Barkley as the teenage brigade started swarming for fan-out flix.
So as I sit here eating all the freebies that whole foods gives a brotha like me, i don't like to dream sabout getting paid. The payblaq is in knowing that I've already lived a billionaire's life. Now it's time to collect. So as I, Michael Anthony Goodloe Clark Junior proceeds to pimp out my alter-ego Meshack Blaq on some old blaq-in-the-day shit, just know that what you see now is but a reflection of the man I used to be. Now I'm twice as nice and don't think thrice. I got what no one else has and that's ownership. Not partnership, nor a leaky ship, but leadership on the spot. On the spot leadership, both then & now & forevermore.

MTV taped it's final 2 hour episode of TRL after being on the air for 10 years. Former host Carson Daily returned to the once popular music video countdown show which was canceled due to low ratings. Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, P. Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Nelly, Ludacris, Hillary Duff, Taylor Swift and 50 Cent stopped by the final episode to remember the show and perform some of their hit songs.
"Folks who helped make TRL what is, whether that's Justin, and his guys in N' Sync, the Backstreet Boys, Britney, Eminem - I think we would love to see all of them here," Sirulnick told the AP.
"I'm going to miss TRL," rapper Eminem said in a statement. "Where else will I be able to start feuds, defend my honor vigorously and act like an angry teenager on national TV? Oh wait ... The VMAs!" source

A constant victim of sagging ratings, the music video countdown show will conclude in a two-hour special on a Saturday afternoon in November, executive producer Dave Sirulnick said on Monday.
“We want to close this era of `TRL’ in a big celebratory way, and 10 is a great number,” Sirulnick said. “And
10 is the number that `TRL’ counted down every single day for 10 years,
and we hit this 10th (anniversary) and we thought, `You know what? This
feels like the right time and let’s celebrate
it and let’s reward it. And let’s let it have a little bit of a rest
for a minute.’ Let it catch its breath! Been working hard — for 10

MTV'S "Total Request Live" will air its final episode Sunday and the show's original host, Carson Daly, will be back for what he calls his "high school reunion." "I didn't actually go to my own high school reunion, but that's what this 'Total Finale Live' is starting to feel like," Daly told the Daily News. "I'm nostalgic in a way that I would be if I heard some of the names of people that I went to high school with." "Total Finale Live," a two-hour tribute to the long-running music video countdown show, will air at 8 p.m. and will include performances by Beyoncé, 50 Cent, the Backstreet Boys and Fall Out Boy. Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Travis Barker, Kid Rock and JC Chasez will also be on hand to talk about what the show has meant to their careers. Daly suspects even more names will pop up at the last minute. Daly can still recall his first day on the job, back in 1998, when it was just him and three camera guys making a dinky show about music videos. "There was no audience, no Times Square, and no kids in the room," said Daly. "But it was just the perfect storm of pop culture and it snowballed from there." Over the course of five years, Daly interviewed everyone from Madonna to Eminem to Britney Spears. "It wasn't a job, it was a lifestyle, so it's hard to articulate how profound of a time that was for me and what it's done for me since," Daly said. source
