Here is more proof that Lindsay Lohan has no boxoffice and is not a good actress. Lindsay recently told a bold faced lie to E! about her sobriety. We were excited to chat with Lilo at Sundance when her film Chapter 27 was entered in the festival. However, Lindsay skipped the festival and checked into one of her stints in rehab.
Lohan urges people not to believe everything they read.
"I don't drink, I don't do drugs and I don't lie," she said. "I love to act and write and be creative, and I want to help people by playing characters that can send a positive message out to whomever may need it."
The 22-year-old did, however, acknowledge that while her record of being in the public eye hasn't always been a pristine one, she has changed—it's the "noise" surrounding her that has not.
"My past is my past and it's been a long one, but I'm growing more and learning more day by day. I'm not the same person and I don't make the same mistakes. [E!]
The Razzie award winning actress and repeat rehab offender's new movie Labor Pains is set for a direct to cable & dvd release.
Fans waiting to see Lindsay Lohan’s latest movie won’t have to leave their living rooms.
Lindsay’s new film, “Labor Pains,” will not be released in theaters, Access Hollywood has learned.
Instead, the comedy will premiere on ABC Family, a source for the film’s production company, Nu Image/Millennium Films, confirmed to Access.
The movie will debut on the cable channel in July 2009, with a DVD release coming in August.
In the film, which wrapped production in August 2008, Lindsay plays a woman who fakes being pregnant to save herself from being fired and is then forced to keep the lie going for nine months.
However, the source did say the movie would hit theaters internationally. No release date was available.
Lindsay was last seen on the big screen in “Chapter 27,” opposite Jared Leto. Her other recent film credits include “Georgia Rule,” “I Know Who Killed Me” and “A Prairie Home Companion.”
She has reportedly lined up a new as-of-yet untitled romantic comedy, alongside Nick Cannon about a girl trying to make it in New York’s fashion world who gets set up on a date with a guy who is blind. [ACCESS HOLLYWOOD]

On December 8, 1980 Mark David Chapman shocked the world by murdering the beloved purveyor of peace, 40-year old musician and activist, John Lennon, outside The Dakota, his New York apartment building. Chapman’s motives were fabricated from pure delusion, fueled by an obsession with the fictional character Holden Caulfield and his similar misadventures in J.D. Salinger’s Catcher in the Rye. In one instant, an anonymous, mentally unstable 25-year old, socially awkward Beatles fan who had fluctuated between idealizing Lennon and being overcome with a desire to kill him – altered the course of history.
Jared Leto, 60 pounds heavier for the role, bears an uncanny physical resemblance to the real Chapman, who to this day, is incarcerated in Attica Prison, on a guilty plea. Aside from a Larry King interview in 1992, he has not spoken with the media. However, Chapman did reveal the mechanics of his unraveling during those three fateful days in New York City, to crime journalist Jack Jones. The interviews were published in 1992 as Let Me Take You Down: Inside the Mind of Mark David Chapman, a book of Chapman’s recollections of his unthinkable act of violence. From this text, the film CHAPTER 27 is based. The film takes its title from the idea that through his actions in New York, Chapman was attempting to "write" his own additional, 27th chapter to Catcher in the Rye (which ends with chapter 26).
Leto’s embodiment of a man whose painfully restless mind thrashes about uncontrollably between paranoia, socio-pathic lying and delusion is summed up in such character revealing comments as "I’m too vulnerable for a world full of pain and lies" and "Everyone is cracked and broken. You have to find something to fix you. To give you what you need. To make you whole again."
From his lies to cab drivers (identifying himself as the Beatles sound engineer) to his socially unacceptable behavior around Jude (Lindsay Lohan) a young fan he meets outside the Dakota -- to his argument with paparazzi photographer Paul (Judah Friedlander), Leto’s Chapman keeps the psychoses bubbling below the surface as his grasp on reality deteriorates into a completely misguided rage.

30 SECONDS TO MARS rocker JARED LETO was asked to leave the ruins of fabled New York club CBGBs recently just before he attempted to steal posters from the walls.
The actor/rocker was walking past the famous venue as demolition experts were in the process of tearing the club down - and he decided to go in and take a last look.
But Leto stood around for too long, and when workmen noticed him in among the rubble he was asked to move on. Leto says, "I walked inside thinking I was gonna rip some posters off the wall.
"Some guy came in next to me and he had on an old leather jacket and you could tell he used to hang there. He said, 'Oh man, this is so sad. I can't believe this. I'm gonna rip something off the wall.'
"As he did, I just stood there looking around and then some people booted me out of there."

Wild! While performing with his rock band, 30 Seconds To Mars, in Hammersmith, UK, last week, Jared Leto got his arm caught in the clinch of an overly eager fan.
Refusing to let go of the singer, the fan was deftly struck in the head with Leto's microphone.

Socialite PARIS HILTON has sparked reports of a romance with LINDSAY LOHAN's ex-boyfriend JARED LETO, after the pair were caught kissing at a party at the Sundance Film Festival.
The star, 26, was snapped getting up close and personal with the 35-year-old actor-turned-rocker at the MySpace Music night earlier this week (begs21Jan08) when she reportedly treated Leto to a sexy lapdance before locking lips with the star at the Park City bash in Utah.

ASHLEY OLSEN has denied reports she's back in the arms of ex-boyfriend JARED LETO after the couple was spotted holding hands at a recent Los Angeles party.
Guests at the Art of Elysium event on 12 January (08) watched as Olsen and the movie star-turned-rocker kissed and cuddled, but her aides insist people are reading too much into the meeting. A representative for Olsen says, "They aren't back together. They're friends." (KL/US/LR)
