iWiTTY TV Concept Lets Audience Take Control / PART 1
President, CEO, Producer, Director, Inventor, Former Channel Manager and among other titles TV Concept Creator Pekka Kossila was working for the world's first 24-7 interactive TV channel Moon TV Finland during 90'. Moon TV was part of Saraxa Group which developed and sold few dozen automated stand alone TV-channels around the globe.
This is his blog. Not only will he reveal what iWiTTY TV Concept is all about but he will speak up in third person and bring on to the table what it took to come up with the world’s first patented TV Concept, how it will change the way TV-, Web- and Radio-TV programs are done and what he aims to do with it {had I invented Reality TV}…
After the realization that making hit productions for the masses were not in sight with in the existing Saraxa system, he went on to research, study and eventually found new way to create next generation interactive TV (iTV).
The main failure of previous iTV's had been that they all required an additional box in order to work. It had proven to be too high obstacle after dozens of failed world wide trials and to his opinion this problem will remain also so in the future – additional box is not an option.
The Saraxa system Kossila was working with didn't need one but it was a generally lackluster with its options and that was the main reason why he shifted the gear and took off for his mission to find out what that boxless mass interactive system could be.
After over five years of intense relaxing, pondering and research, pieces finally fell together. Result: The first ever patented TV Concept - which will enable millions of people, continents, countries, states and/or cities scuffle against each other without a need of buying that additional earmarked set-top box.
New concept he worked out is neither a lackluster or does it require set-top box and therefore the future triumph needed a new name to point out that it is not iTV but something else - the future of streaming television. It is way smarter, wittier than any of the previous iTV attempts; i (me) WiTTY (smart, clever) with two small i’s (sequels often come with higher numbers) it projects out the extra boost it brings for the generation Y with all the extended chances it provides for the interaction without that additional, useless costly box.
It gives the opportunity to hand out 100 percent control over the TV-, Web- Radio-TV and Mobile TV productions to the audience. With iWiTTY TV Concept people can produce broadcast quality level productions at home. With dozens of new breed format possibilities it will open whole new TV-, Web- and TV-Radio world without copyright issues. And not to lose the readers here, these will be mostly massively interactive where everything you do has an effect to your scores, results and ultimately to your life – whether you become a millionaire, star or not.
- Check this up. If someone told you seven years ago that You can have your own radio- and TV station and broadcast globally to certain extend without worrying about copyrights that you can control from paradise island or any other spot in the world by using your laptop requiring just wireless internet connection, what would you have said? That time I had just finished making soundtrack to my book with PlayStation 1 and felt that I’m not behind the time but way ahead of it.
- Word “broadcasting” will most likely become one of those “telex” words and change to streaming or something more clever since who needs or wants to wait and catch that certain program at the certain time when they have the option to catch it up after coming home and by that time broadcast is over and program is waiting for you in your mailbox. Well, that really has nothing to do with the actual iWiTTY TV invention. There is that streaming and then there is the content you want to stream and iWiTTY TV is all about content and letting audience take control of it…
